History

Ramkhamhaeng University Demonstration School (Elementary Level) was founded in 1994 as a child development center in consonance with a program of social welfare benefits provided for Ramkhamhaeng University personnel. Originally, there were three classrooms of students. There were two classrooms of nursery school age and a single classroom of kindergarten age. A year later in 1995 the school was renamed as “Ramkhamhaeng Kindergarten School.” On December 15, 1997, Ramkhamhaeng University approved the establishment of the Ramkhamhaeng University Demonstration School (Elementary Level). Ramkhamhaeng University fully supported the school in all aspects and the highest level of the school was Kindergarten 3. In 1998, the school added the first year of elementary education to its teaching program with Primary 1 designed to absorb graduates of the kindergarten Subsequently the school evolved into a fully-fledged elementary school at all stager from Kindergarten1 to Primary 6.

Responsibilities

Ramkhamhaeng University Demonstration School (Elementary Level) produces the graduates in the field of Education in cooperation with the faculty of Education. It is a source of teacher training, internships, professional teaching experiences and teaching practices experiments utilizing innovations and new teaching techniques and research for educational development. The school is a model for organizing education, and teaching and learning management to develop students in early childhood and primary school to grow up development their potential and become quality youth of the society. It is also an organization that disseminates knowledge to society as an educational source and cooperate with personnel and various institutions in researching, testing and developing educational work. The school, therefore, is a source of learning that is an alternative school for students at the basic education level. The school has guidelines for teaching and learning management in accordance with the university’s policy and the National Education Act of 1999.
